this is also a really great picture. Does any one know what year this is? it is also really neat to see Richard singing and Karen playing her beloved drums, they really were a team. thanx

Isn't he a dreamboat? I like his outfit. I first learned of the Carpenters when I was four. To this day I am a huge fan!!! Karen is my hero!
When I saw this picture I thought, wouldn't it be nice if I had seen this concert? Not to mention any of them? I wonder what it would have been like. You know, had it been Karen still living, It would have been fun!

Maybe if
..they let her stay behind the drums, she wouldn't have become so terribly ill, what I mean to say is; maybe Karen wouldn't have made such a big deal out of what she looked like? Allthough I do understand how they all wanted to let her show herself more to the public, for after all Karen wás so very beautyful!! Ofcourse I always can't help thinking about this reporter on a certain magazine who called her chubby...that did it if you ask me....
