I was listening to the Now & Then cd with my head phones at full volume, and during the dong "End of the world" I can hear voices in the background. Especially when she sings "Why does my heart go on beating..." I can hear a voice in the background that's too faint to be back-up vocals. Can anyone else hear this??

I've never heard of this before. I know that Richard has re-worked and re-engineered a lot of recordings. It would be interesting to know if the same background noise appears in the boxed set "From the Top" as well.

I've put the ESSENTIAL COLLECTION on and I can't hear it. Of course you may have better ears than me - Great for spotting it though

I also tried to find, but I heard no strange background sounds. I listened those part of the song
five times, but didn't manage to hear. Maybe it was because my low quality headphone.

Hmmm - thanks for having a listen anyway. I listened to my mate's version, I can still hear it but her can't? Spooky ir what? haha

i dont have that cd but i did notice on their Greatest Hits cd that i have that on the second cd, in between songs, when she's changing from "sing" to "make believe its your first time" she says under her breathe, "ugh...i have to get in a serious mood here" i always thought that was cool. i feel like shes still here, when i here that. it doesnt seem possible that shes gone when i hear her talk.
