This is a dream so incredible that i had last night with Karen.



"was 10 in the morning in a town, i dont know what town was, but somebody tolds me that the Aniversary Celebration of Karen is start in this hour.

So, i was in a street, was rainy day very cold, very grey.

And her casket was crossin the principal street of this town.

But the terrorific was that she was singin! inside the casket i`d hear OMG...

When i`d listen her voice..horrible! for the terrorific scene, i`d was too scraed, and i`d put my finger in my ear. I didn`t support this..

All the fans, was crazy, follow the sad caravan, i`d say, how they can support this..is terrorific. I was just for a seconds walking close to her and the caravan, with a little paper, thats said; "The New Karen" or "Karen Spirit".
But she was happy, i heard somebody said in my dream.

She was singing, happy songs of the duo, and in this celebration i seen in a big screem some videos. I seen the video Beachwood 5-6789 with the dancers there...In meantime...she all the time in the casket oh, when i remember i feel panic. You can`t imagine how is.

But the most worse was when she sings there, her voice was like underground...no clear, and that`s scared me horribly!!!!!

So, that when i`d awake i`d tought never want to talk about her, or listen her...But is just a dream.
I love Carpenters! never mind...



I have a feeling so sad of this..and im still affraid, is like a message...a sign? you dont think so?

Is like now i know who is she, and i fall in the hard reallity she is a dead. I was like in a game or a cloud about her... Need respect no fun how i doing always

That is a really creepy dream .. more of a nightmare, I'd say. I bet you were glad to wake up and break the dream!

Wow,sounds massive...

But in general,I think having intense and impressive dreams is something GOOD,wish i had more of them..
Even if you didn`t like that particular dream,perhaps next time you`ll have a dream that`s equally intense but POSITIVE.

Yes, i wish i had Karen dreams. Forget intense ones, i'd be happy with any! Not once have i had so much as a mention of Karen in a dream. Kind of sad actually, but that's ok, im not much of a dreamer, except during the day.

he gaves food, he feeds to Karen in the seaside

but she didn`t eat

and she was just 19

she told there..all the eating disorders was started at this age.

Dreams are always symbolic. I've got a book called 1001 Deams by Jack Altman which I like to use to interpret my dreams that gives both the Freudian and Jungian interpretations. There are lots of symbols in dreams and a coffin is one of them. Here's what the book says:

Coffin: As an open container, the coffin for Freudians can be a - sombre - symbol of female sexuality.

Funeral: Dreaming of a funeral often expresses a solemn reflection not on death but on closure.

Singing: Singing may represent a gesture of praise to a higher being(mortal or otherwise). A dream-song may also be a profession of love.

I don't think Karen is trying to send you a message from beyond or anything. The people in dreams are really your subconscious mind and I think(I'm no expert here) that the dream represents how you feel and the difficult time you're having with her death. Audio and video recordings, along with photos tend to perpetuate the illusion that she's still around too, but clinging to the past is a way of not looking at the present and the fact your getting older. I remember when my father died a few years back it was like somebody hit the fast forward button on my life and I got a deeper sense of how much time has passed. Its just something you learn to accept.

A few nights ago I had a rather convoluted dream, as they often are, which included Karen and the Carpenters performing in concert. I was in a house or small building with some people I didn't know and we were watching a video of the Carpenters performing "Rainy Days and Mondays" on stage. The video focused in on Karen as I noticed she was really doing some neat and impressive drumming while singing the song. Everyone seemed amazed and was making approving comments about her. I remember picking up the remote to replay the video portion that focused on her but pushed some wrong buttons and had trouble replaying it. After that I woke up but was really amazed at how vivid it all was. ..

I agree with Steventide. I don't think dreams this generation have meanings. But of course if you read the bible, in their time, God is giving them an answer or sign through dreams and vision. Just an opinion. Well, I hope you to have a good dream about her!

I feeling with Karen dreams i have, in the same way.
I take my dream...as a Karen notice...something that she want to tell me. I mean it.
And it`s true, also not only dreaming...awake too. I percive what`s can happend, what`s wrong is in the air.
