Yea, it doesn't look like it's on youtube. there's a million other documentaries on there, though. I forget which one's I've already seen if just going by the title. I haven't seen the VH1 doc yet, though... that I would have remembered. Maybe you can find a torrent, or do a search on a file sharing program. Or look for a bootleg dvd being sold on eBay or something if you really want to see it badly.

Well has anybody else seen it? Is it any different than any of the others? Well that prolly won't calm my obsession with trying to find it so never mind. Does anybody have it to download? I have a little OCD-obsessive carpenters disorder nailbiting.gif and it drives me crazy when i know there is carpenter material that i have not seen yet lol

I have seen it, taped it when it was on VH1. It's one of the best documentaries on them that I have seen. It opens with a close up of Richard, who seems lost in his thoughts, saying 'Friday morning...phone rings. It's my mother...who's hysterical.'

The commentary is also really good. The whole thing is done in the typical thorough style of the 'Behind The Music' series.

Here are some screenshots from the special. There are so many out there that I tend to mix up which special is what. LOL I don't know who this seller is but they seem to have it on DVD-R.

I have it on video... When I get my computer fixed, or get a new computer, I'll try to upload it to YouTube.

Believe me I've looked everywhere on the net for a torrent of the Carpenters Behind the Music. I've only seen it once and that was years ago when it first came out. My guess is that many fans have attempted to upload it but Viacom watchdogs (I believe they own VH1) have flagged it off of YouTube every time.

clap.gif Wow, thank you in advance, Carolyn!! happydance.gif

I only have seen 15 seconds or so from this doc. on YouTube. Richard's daughter was singing "Top of the World"?

I have DVD "Behind the Music + book". That's is unofficial DVD, and there is nothing that relates to the VH1 documentary.

Richard is always harmonising. In 1988 Richard sang both lead and back-up laugh.gif shutup.gif in Japan.

My reply here.
If it is still available, I posted the link in the previous post.
I watched the short clip on YouTube several months ago, but it is now 'This video has been removed by the user', so I didn't link.
LeadSister Gallery member might upload it.
