How To Navigate The Forum

I was wondering if there is some sort of "insturuction book" on the how to's of the forum? I find myself very lost sometimes. There is so much that I don't know how to do. When I want to quote just a sentence of someones post I can't seem to figure out how to do this without quoting the whole post. This is just one example of the many things I need to learn.

The help section may help answer some of your questions.
You will eventually figure things out. Just takes a little time. As far as quoting parts of a post, you have to quote a post and then delete the text you don't want to show. You can't pick out parts of someone's post to include. You have to just quote the post and delete what you don't want. hope that helps. Just remember to not delete the open and closing tags. Like [ quote ] text found here [ / quote ].

Robin, regarding quoting only one segment of someone's post... once you've hit the 'quote' button and the reply screen appears, you can edit or delete the other person's post as if it was your own. Just be sure that the quotation tags still surround the part that you want to quote.

Thank you. See, I really don't know what I'm doing...I even put this in the wrong section.
