Karen, My Best Friend

Hi everyone,
My name is Vicky, I'm 30 and I live in Paraguay, (South America). I've never been really good with words, I'd rather express what I feel, singing... So sorry if this post makes little sense, ok?
It was so hard for me to pick just one favourite song, so in the end, I chose the first one I ever herd and learned, back when I was very little, maybe five or six. I don't know if you would understand this... but I having been a quiet girl for long, Karen, through her music, became a friend, my best friend, and so she remains.
I remember introducing her to the other girls at school, back in the late 80s and 90s, and later, and when I was 15, and my school wouldn't get us a choir teacher, I took it to direct it myself: Needless to say, I surreptitiously convinced the girls we "had" to sing first one, and then another and another Carpenter song... We wan all the contests we took them to, and most importantly, our teenager audience adored it! It was quite a change here, because,, being spanish our language, almost noone ever performed in english at that time.
I'm very happy to have found this place and share with others the magic of Karen and Richard, and I hope to keep sharing it with new friends.
Love,
Vicky
