Hey there all...
Just found this website this week. My parents used to listen to the Carpenters...
and since I've been married (last 5 years) I've introduces my husband to them.
We love their Christmas music, and now are trying to build out collection of albums.
My favorite album is the CARPENTERS from '71...and the best of. Any suggestions?
I really, really enjoy the harmonies and the style of the Bacarach Medley on the '71 album...any other
material that is similar?
Thanks and look forward to chatting with you guys...

Hi!
Welcome to the forum.
If you're looking for more great albums, try the ones released just before and after the Tan album that you love. There are some really great harmonies and drumming in the albums, "Close To You" and "A Song For You". I think the Carpenters were at their creative peak with those three albums (but that's just my personal opinion). Karen's vocals seemed to achieve perfection, however, on the Horizon album and A Kind of Hush.
Either way, you can't go wrong.

Hi Welcome to the forum!!!
I'd like to suggest the "Reader's Digest Collection" of the Carpenters and "As Time Goes By"...... the Reader's Digest you might find on ebay... "As Time Goes BY" you should be able to find on Amazon.
Good luck and happy listening... I'm Jayne from Illinois

At the top of the screen there's a 'search' button. You can type in "Burris" and find the topics that have talked about him. Here are some:

You'd have to go to "Live Chat" up there above "My Controls" to find out if anyone can talk directly to you.
