Karen Carpenter ( Solo ) If We Try, this song is so magical, I have not listened to the solo album in ages, yesterday morning I played it, and If We Try just really stuck out, it was so magical, it really was close to the Carpenters sound, so beautiful

Karen sounds so sexy...yet sophisticated and mature.

I wish the "Made In America" album went in this type of direction of song choice...mid-tempo funky ballads.

My favorite is "All Because Of You". I just love this song!! "I keep singing my love song in my mind I sing a song for you, you can see through the music thats in my mind so baby close your eyes". I just love Karen singing this part. I often can imagine what her facial expressions would have looked like. She sings this part with attitude!

Where is "All Because Of You" located? I have never heard that song...

I can imagine Karen's facial expressions on most of the Album, she sounds sincerely happy, like she is having the time of her life, I like All Because Of You too, it sounds country like, just the simple guitar playing in the beginning, its nice, its also nice to hear Karen without over dubbing, a lot of the solo songs have karen singing without over dubbing, and she sounds awesome, but its a kind of awesome that you would hear if she were standing there in the same room singing, not on record kind of sound, its nice
