Maybe it's me, but I have a hard time picturing Richard in present-day scenarios, even though he is (thankfully) still with us. Like, does it seem odd to think of him talking on his cellphone or loading tunes onto his iPod? Can you picture him subconsciously humming along to Taylor's Hannah Montana CD?

Now, take it a step further, if you dare... Can you imagine a 57-year-old (beautiful) Karen driving a 2007 Jag, wearing bootcut jeans and glam shades (okay, that part I can picture), guzzling an iced tea through a green Starbucks straw?? Definitely candy for the imagination...

Yeah, its weird and I wonder what Richard thinks of the new music related technology. He works on computers and probably has an Ipod. I wonder what Karen would have thought of the new computer/music technologies.

I imagine Karen these days sometimes. It would be interesting to picture her looks through the 80s and the 90's. The only thing I really imagine is all the TV shows or movies she MAY have started acting in if she explored that route. And that she might have answered fan mail as wonderfully as Richard does! Can you imagine her answering email and having Facebook? lol But she and the Carpenters remain timeless to me of course.
