Looking For Love/i'll Be Yours 45

Has anyone ever seen the 45 anywhere? I think it would be a great collectors item if located. "Looking For Love" was the A side of the EP, but many agree that "I'll Be Yours" should've been the A side instead. I think both songs are classics, though.
I read this as stated "Only 500 copies of this rare single were made, and a mint condition copy is valued at $2,500.00."

I've never seen a copy except on eBay and various photos that show up on different websites... I started looking for it over 30 years ago, looking in used record shops, looking in Goldmine magazine, looking on eBay... Either no one's ever seen it or heard of it, or it's priced too far out of range to buy... Even if I were to buy a copy, I'd never play it. So what would be the point...?
Apparently the 500 copies were distributed around Los Angeles and among Carpenter friends and relatives... Thank goodness, Richard finally saw fit to include the songs in the From The Top collection... I like "I'll Be Yours" more than "Looking For Love." It's also the song that was featured in "The Karen Carpenter Story."

I think the best bet is probably to look in the California area. I believe that Richard owns a few copies.
