Covers For "sweet Memory" Collection.

I have just watched this so-so movie with Jane Fonda, California Suite (1977) and as it starts the main titles are shown with some nice paintings that feature California scenes which remembered VERY much of the covers for the japanese Carpenters collection Sweet Memory, that you can check here, and they are by David Hockney, who, as I googled him, was a british artist! So, since I don't know who is responsible for the cute little images used for the Sweet Memory cds, could they POSSIBLY be by David Hockney as well??

The artwork on the albums is lovely. I, too, would be interested to know who is responsible.
I would hazzard a guess it isn't Hockney, the album artwork is too subtle for his style.
I hope I haven't set myself up for a fall: - )
I saw California Suite back in the day, and loved it. I caught it a couple of years ago to find it hadn't worn well. Definately in the so so family of films...
