I love them, but why Wahhhhhhhhhhhh Ahhhhh eu Ahhhhhh Ahhh Close to you? Why not just...Close to You?
I hope you weren't just joking Simon...I don't want to make an ass out of myself here!

Total agreement here, Cheryl. And each time through, I tend to pick a different vocal part to sing.

"Push Beat"? HUH?
Push beat - the little syncopated fill Karen does on the drums that "pushes" them into the next "Wah"

Yes, Andrew, you're completely correct on the push beat thing.
As for your avatar... that was a screen shot from a Japanese commercial K & R did for Suntory Pop, a lemon-lime flavored soda.
Speaking of pop..... that's what WE call it here in the midwest. What do y'all call it - soda? pop? soda pop? I know in the south, folks call it "coke" whether it's actually Coke or not! Just curious...

Well, I can't speak for all of Canada...but I call all products by it brand name! I usually call them pop if I am talking about them in general.
Does that help.
Thank you for the !
BTW, did Karen speak Japanese in this commercial or did a Japenese VO actor do some dubbing? Or did KC just speak English...for some odd reason?

So, if you ask for Coke... you get Coke, right? Or do they ask "What kind of Coke do you want?" Cuz like... what if you want Sprite?

You're so funny Jena! :rolf: I don't think these things are THAT complicated! I know what you mean, but it's not that hard. If you want a Sprite you ask for a Sprite! I think "Coke" can be anything from "Pepsi to Coco Cola to Coke" everything else is separate. Except I think "Pop" can be anything from "Sprite to Mountain Dew to 7 Up". I think it goes by how similar the drinks are to each other. When it gets right down to it...it doesn't matter the "Pops" and the "Cokes" all taste the same to me! Do you know what I mean or did I just confuse you. I think I confused you. Sorry if I did.
