I read on a website that it was. Can anyone confirm? I had read that Michael Jackson was a fan.

Michael Jackson a Carpenters fan? huh? *laughs at the thought* He's never shown any type of love for The Carpenters. He may like them like thousands of other people...but a fan I doubt it...well maybe he is...you never know. Some of his songs sound carpenter-ISH. I can't stress that ISH enough.
See, from my own understanding that place where you read it from may have not been correct. I am a fan of Michael and I never heard him say that he was a fan of The Carpenters. I know he was a fan of James Brown, but I never heard that he was a fan of The C's. His style wasn't even like The Carpenters...well maybe alittle but he uses a lot of Back-up singers. I maybe wrong on this info though so somebody please correct me. You know I wish Michael would make a come back...but in my heart I know America/Canada wouldn't accept him.
Just some thoughts,
