Which Is Your Favorite Carpenters' Alb...

Is there any album cover that you like in particular from the others? My favorite is the "Offering" cover. Too bad they don't have that picture in a poster or something.

I like the colors on the "Passage" album. You can't go wrong with a color random design, given how dated or cheesy alot of the photographs on the Carpenters albums turned out! I always have this one framed on my wall.
But I will say I like the "Now and Then" cover too with the car and Newville House, although Karen's face is sliced in half and if you look closely, Richard has a pissed off look on his face.
(I like the back story Richard talked about when this cover was taken. )
The Heart on "A Song for You" is ok too. But I don't really like the albums where they have photos of them. (Horizon and A Kind of Hush" were the best though.)

I like the Made In America cover the best. There aren't any covers I completely dislike though. They all have their pros and cons to me.

Oh, definitely the Horizon cover. The colors and hazy resolution is very 70's and very romantic, and Karen looked absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion. Great hair, great clothes... and they don't look like hubby-and-wife OR the Pepsodent twins. The best by far.
I also like the cover of AKOH, although I liked some of the other photos taken during that session better than the one that made its way onto the cover. My very favorite photo of Karen was taken during that session.

And which one would that be?
My favorite is the cover of the Horizon album. The cover matched the vocals on that one-perfection.

I agree! Even better than the AKOH cover is the picture inside, Karen in the red sweater. I have AKOH on vinyl and I remember the first time I opened it.
But my favourite is a toss-up between Horizon and Ticket To Ride. Although Made in America was nice too.

I thought it was terrible.
But I'm glad you liked it.
Apparently it was chosen by Herb Alpert.
Something about it always appealed to me. I felt like Karen was saying "Enjoy these sunflowers, along with this masterpiece of an album". The album is a masterpiece!

Ok, I can't remember that one. I have to go home now and open my vinyl packaging and remind myself of the inner pictures.
