I noticed that Karen almost always said "First of All..." in the beginning of all her sentences. At the beginning of their Bacharach Medley she said it and probably every time she accepted and award she probably said it too. Or maybe I don't know what I am talking about. Whatever that's what I think.

That's funny, I never noticed that.


By the way, Andrew, did you see your birthday thread in Off Topic? The party is waiting.

She also said "thusly" a lot, which isn't a very common word!

Is it actually a word at all, or one Karen invented ?!

Okay guys hang on I am about to post a video on YouTube that proves that she said "First of All"...at least twice. So, maybe she didn't say it ALOT, but at least she did say it two times in her lifetime.

It's not a real word, but it is often incorrectly used amongst high schoolers that are trying to sound smart in their English papers.

It should just be "thus".

I've only ever heard Karen say "thusly" once.

To stay on topic, I've never noticed this habit of her saying "first of all" either, but I shall look for it now. I think Karen's speaking voice was as beautiful as her singing voice.

I know your just dieing to watch this video I made... ...so I'll give you alittle teaser. I think it's funny/cute how she uses "First of All" in kind of weird places (in a sentence). I also like how her words get jubbled up because she's laughing in the last audio clip. (The last audio clip sort of sounds abit scripted or something...alittle planned for sure). Very cute...and her voice is just a beautiful as her singing voice. And this video is kind of boring...WARNING to ADD kids don't watch this video . I am kidding. But seriously I spent probably 30 minutes making this video (finding the audio clips and scanning the pictures...and finally editing it and adding music). This video is what YOUTUBE was make for...you know....it's kinda pointless. But, if you can find me a better way of spending my summer vacation you just let me know smart guy . Oh, and make sure to read the video description first!

I have a feeling that this is going to take longer to be ready than I thought. I'll post the link tomorrow. Hows that sound?

Yep! Still waiting for the video.

I know! I know! You must be getting so impatient. See what happened is I deleted the video because I thought it wasn't working but I just found out it was working. . So now I have to upload it again and wait for YOUTUBE to do it's thing. Dammit I am the biggest idiot in the land of idiots!

For sure the video will be available this evening or tomorrow. But I am sure you all can wait till then.

Saying "first of all..." may just be her way of arranging her thoughts, which a lot of people do...

Or it may be a sign of her obsessive complusive disorder, having the need to state events in their chronological order...

Any other theories...?

Just for clarification purposes, Karen wasn't diagnosed with OCD, was she? Not that it'd be any big surprise if she had, I was just wondering if I had missed something.
