My name is Andrew. I am 16. I used to be anorexic. Now, I am alittle over weight (Isn't life funny that way). I have a show on YouTube titled "The Andrew Johnson Show".

When I am older I hope to be a Producer of Animated programs. I never told anybody this before, but I hope to get Richard Carpenter to compose a theme for one of my future shows. I really hope it happens for me. Richard is still composing music, and the great this about him is his music hasn't changed.

I love The Simpsons and I am excited to see their movie tomorrow.

My favourite songs of The Carpenters are:
- All you get from love is a love song
- (Want You) Back in my life again
- For all we know
-Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft

...and so on...I love alot of their songs. As you may already know I am a fan of The Carpenters.

I really miss Karen. If she was still alive I would have loved to still hear their music, and possibly she could have done voice over for one of my shows. It's sad that just when everything was thought to be in control, but at 30 pounds (I think it was 30 pounds) her body couldn't take it anymore. She seemed like the nicest person in the world.
My one wish is that she should have been on Match Game which is one of my favourite shows. It was on in the 70s-early 80s and is on DVD now.

Anyway, it's great that I finally found people that share the same love for The Carpenters that I have. People in my school don't understand how good and genius they really where.

Also, I'd really like to know how to fix up my profile.

I'm glad you're doing better with your anorexia. Oh, by the way, Karen weighed 108 lbs. when she died, not 30. But she did go down to around 80 lbs. at one point, so she was at some point over 40 lbs. underweight.

I know I'll enjoy my time here. Let me start off by saying that I wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for Karen carpenter. Her death spread awareness of Anorexia. That's the only good thing that came out of it. I quite glad to be alive today.

On a lighter topic...I'd like to know how to work on my profile. I don't know how. Somebody tell me!

Hi Andrew. Welcome to Leadsister from one new member to another. I'm quite a bit older than you but also feel that I am still alive thanks to awareness brought to my anorexia because of Karen's untimely death. Until she died, I just had a "dieting problem," no one I knew had ever heard of anorexia nervosa. Anyway, that's how I discovered the Carpenters music and my love of it has only grown over the years.

By the way, I'm 43 years old and from Pennsylvania.
