All I ever listen to is the Carpenters. All I feel like spending my money on is on Carpenters merchandise. I think about listening to the Carpenters when doing everything. I cannot sit down to eat without thinking how great the Carpenters are. The days I can't listen to the Carpenters I am just a wreck. Does anyone else have this kind of GOOD problem?

Oh, yes. I think we all know about this "problem". I'm pretty lucky that Dave-O is also obsessed. I guess there's lots worse "obsessions"., so don't even worry about it...just come to LS.

Are you a new fan, Marty? When I first joined the forum, I was kind of like that, too...hanging out on Ebay all the time and such. It's died down a bit now for me since I've lived here for the past 4.5 years, but NOKS (Nuts Over Karen Syndrome) is alive and well on this forum, so...welcome home.

I've listened to them since I was little. Over the past month I've been really hooked, though. I mean really hooked. haha

I'm proud to have NOKS! haha

Thank God Almighty I Am Not Alone!!! I believe if we were to have a competition i would beat all yall!! *Lexi smiles her evil grin and laughs her most evilest laugh.* I might not know everything about the Carpenters but i definitely have to say i could quite possibly be the most obsessed.

Not that i'm terribly proud of it, but i have had a few instances where i have actually gone through withdrawl symptoms and have not been able to function because you can't listen to your ipod during school. Of course that usually doesn't stop me, but the few times i didn't bring my ipod to school, i definitely felt withdrawl. I think i have an addiction...literally. Its not cigarettes, it's not porno, its not alcohol, but its none other than the Carpenters!! haha im pathetic aren't I.

wow....yes, I have checked into the Right place here...indeed! yes, i must admit I also am addicted with our fave dynamic duo and have especially past few yrs.
So, Marty you are in good even crazy company. but, I tend to totally enjoy the C's still a bit "in the closet" but that's only because people around me here in my real world, especially mom...well, she likes the c's but surely
does not understand my huge fascination with them and I accept that.

I have the ability to listen to nothing else but Karen's voice in music daily and watch videos over and over again. I'm actually taking a break from playing the Carpenters in my car just so I can enjoy it later again after an absence.

Sometimes I feel like the music is my life's soundtrack.

I have a handful of musical obsessions on rotation.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm so glad you people are here, at least I know I'm not insane like my family and friends think I am. I was looking over some scrapbook scans in another post, reading old reviews of the Carpenter's music, and I started to get so angry. How could those reviewers have said things like the music leaving a "bad after-taste?" What was wrong with them? They wouldn't know good music if it came up and bit them in the but!

I can totally relate to ya all. Karen is all that I play around here. I have taken on my Cd's and put them on Itunes and burned several disks with my all time favs. My hubby keeps stealing my favortie disk out of my car for his listening pleasure!!!! As far as I am concerned is Carpenter time all the time!!!!

As much as I LOVE the Carpenters, I do have to have a break from them now and again
