My Youtube Videos

Hi, everyone... I am a new member here. I used to be a member on the old RoadOde forum - I was known as Johnny Angel over there...
I've created two videos that I'd like to share with everyone.
The first is my video for one of my favorite Carpenters songs, "Trying To Get The Feeling Again"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcXF90pfspA
The second video is a tribute to Karen. The song is from the soundtrack of "Ghost Rider," and is called "A Thing For Karen Carpenter." I've not seen the film, so I don't know the context of the song in the film. I liked the melody and created a video tribute for Karen.

Hope you like them!

Here's another one that I just finished today...
Carpenters - Road Ode
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTKu0cn4gpM
These videos take about six hours from start to finish... The hard part is finding pictures to accompany the music and lyrics... A few are my own, but most of them I find by looking around on the Internet...
Enjoy!

What album is Road Ode from ?

Road Ode originally appeared on the "Song For You" album. The version I used for my video was taken from the Japanese CD "By Request." It's been remixed and I think I like it better than the original...

Welcome to the forum! Great videos!!
Probably when I watched your "A Thing For Karen Carpenter" video, I thought the creater was lurker of LeadSister.
I'd like to read your story about Carpenters more. Thank you.
Yesterday I watched "Leave Yeaterday Behind", and thought if the creater is the same person who uploaded "Trying To Get The Feeling Again".
I love that you add writers (and arranger) to your videos.
I love "Road Ode" video very much. The photos which you chose fit very well.
I may see the photo that you use at 3:02 for the first time. Would you show the photo, please? Richard wore the same coat in Japan.
I think I have seen Karen's photo in the same outfits at Barry's old site.
The link sometimes doesn't work, but here it is.

I was not a RoadOde forum member. Was it true that RoadOde had Charlie Tuna's birthday interview with Karen?

I have seen the second photo and I thought Karen's wore the same cap(?) in Japan, but I haven't noticed that Karen wore the fur coart as well in Japan, but in different occasions.

Most people like the remixes better, I like them just because they are a little different, its nice for a change of pace and all, but I almost always prefer the originals, the one that I notice the most difference in is in the Now and Then album, I like the original version of Yesterday Once More, I don't have A Song For You, I wish I did, I will probably get it eventually, their are still several of their albums that I need to get ( the later ones, that I think sound the best ) but it gives you something to look foreward to

I noticed a picture in your Road Ode video towards the end of Karen sitting down, she had a hat on, and was leaning on something, I had never seen that before, could you upload the picture to here?

Here's one I was working on last month, and I just finished tonight:
Carpenters - Honolulu City Lights
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtHGW5mPgrI
This was a difficult video to do because it wasn't easy finding pictures to fit all the lyrics.
Also, the phrasing made it difficult to decide how long to leave some pictures on the screen...
Anyway, I hope everyone likes it...
