I am Paddy from the UK, slightly older than most of you at 45 but still as passionate about the Carpenters as anyone.

Was brought up on their music back in the 70's & now my daughter of 12 carries on the family trait.

Looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you all.

I know its off topic but just wish to post my condolences on the site for anybody affected by the tragic circumstances in Virginia, USA.

I'm Karly, 21, from Florida.

Yes, it's the same. My father introduced me to the carpenters when I was 11, and when I was 14 realized I loved them (nope, admmited is the right word), they've helped me a lot, learning new words, verbs in english etc.
And yes, not many people have heard the carpenters here, that's why when I called to the radio and asked 4 1 carpenters soings at last I heard 3 or 4. They're incredible, really!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: I'm doing the same with my sister who's 4 years old. She's listened the carpenters since she was one month of life
