Not A Religious Topic...just A Question

KC#1fan's Photo KC#1fan 25 Mar 2007

ok i was just wondering if anybody on the fan site is a Methodist Christian? i was wondering about Richard and Karen's religion because i am a reformed christian and i was wondering if anybody could pm me and tell me about the methodist religion if you are a methodist. i would have this locked because i dont want to be blamed for any debates, but i dont know how to lock it. i want to ask all the members but i dont want to have to go through the trouble personally of pm'ing all of yall if you know what i mean. smile.gif
if you think this topic is innappropriate i guess ill understand and delete pronto. but its just a question.

I don't think it needs to be locked just yet, but don't worry it won't get out of hand. I will transfer it to General Chat though, because I think it's most appropriate there.

I think the only Methodist here is Jamie, so maybe she can answer your question. I'm not sure how Methodist Karen and Richard were, though. They were raised that way and went to church as children, but I don't think they ever went as adults, or followed Methodist teachings. They sort of did their own thing from what I gather.

Richard played the Beatles at charch. shutup.gif

Is Dionne Warwick Methodist? I read or heard it recently.
Does anyone know what Dionne said about Olivia's outfits at Karen's funeral?

I read, well skimmed their book, I had it for like 2 days checked out from the Library, and from what I gathered, Karen was very religious, but she kept it to herself, probably from fear of criticism, you know how everybody seemed to criticise everything that she ever did

True, but that actually was recorded in 1979-1980
She Recorded plenty of stuff after that, and she was trying to use her solo album to break away from her little girl image , and have people finally see that she had grown up, I think that is the reason that her solo album was the way she made it

Just wondering, how did you come to that conclusion? I didn't see anything in the Coleman book that implied that, maybe I missed something. hmmm.gif

She's right, Simon...I'm not religious, and I have nothing on Ames in terms of mischief. She has way more experience in that department. bowdown.gif laugh.gif
