She did see it, atleast once, I read a story somewhere, she was doing her photo shoot for her Solo album, she saw the picture that turned out to be the cover of Voice Of The Heart and said " I'm pretty " or something along those lines in amazement. If she would have seen it long before that though

Karen Carpenter was one of the all-time beautiful women, in my opinion. She was up there with 20th century greats such as Raquel Welch, Ann Margaret, Liz Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, etc.. She was up there with the Mona Lisa, Cleopatra, and the ancient Greek and Roman goddesses. She is probably the prettiest woman I have ever seen, maybe due to her sweet, sweet, smile. I read from Ray Coleman's Carpenters autobiography, as well as from the internet, that the depression that accompanied her anorexia caused her to feel that she was unattractive and unloved. Which was sad, because she was one of the most attractive and adored woman ever, not just in her own lifetime, but even 25 years after her passing!

If she was so depressed and stuff, how come her smile was so beautiful, it seemed like she was genuinely happy, was it just a put on then?

I am no expert on anorexia, but from what little I have read, it is a psychological illness moreso than a physical illness. Even today, the disorder remains somewhat of a mystery. It is irrational, like all psychological illnesses, it doesn't make sense. So I believe Karen was a genuinely happy, cheerful person in public who liked to smile alot. I believe she was genuinely happy. But in private, when the depression took over, it took its toll on her in the form of anorexia. Depression and anorexia just doesn't make sense, especially for a woman who was in the prime of her life and had it all, fame, fortune, adoration, etc.. But, it existed, it still exists today among many sufferers. So it is a fact, although mysterious.

Her most beautiful physical feature was her eyes. Big, bright and brown.
Her overall personality and self-deprecating sense of humor was also very attractive.

. I love her
and I also miss her
I'd have seriously asked her to marry me if I ever met her! She's the most perfect woman that ever lived. What man doesn't want a girl like Karen, seriously. She's a dream!

Well, I believe that people look at themselves differently. There are times when my hair isn't right or my clothes aren't right that I think very negatively of myself. Karen was definitely a very beautiful woman, though! She just needed to hear it more. She must've felt very good about herself when she would get marriage proposals in the mail and stuff. I would!
