Hello,
I have always wondered what happened to the band after they stopped touring. I remember Bob Mesinger and Cubbie O'Brien, but can't remember the other names.
Any info would be great!!

Do you remember Doug Strawn, Tony Peluso, Dan Woodhams and Gary Sims?

Gary (As you know, he was a guitarist.) was an engineer at the Carpenters
concerts tour in Japan in 1976. I saw him on a stage before the concert
started.
I saw Bob and Tony Peluso at Richard solo concert in Japan. Three of them
were presented flower bouquet by fans.
I saw Akiko Kobayashi's (Richard produced her album "Akiko" = "City Of
Angels" ) clips on the website in around 2001. There is not Akiko's clips
now on the site. I think that Richard and almost all of the band members
appeared on the clip. But I'm not sure.
I heard that Tony had been a producer and engineer. I have read that most of
the tracks on the CD"Smokey Robinson: Smoke Signals (1986)"
were co-produced by Tony.
Here is Daniel Levitin's article about Steve Barri and Tony(1998):
http://ww2.mcgill.ca.../erp/barri.html
Tony is listed as
Prodocer
"Motown Connoisseurs, Vol. 2" (2003),
Mixing, Overdub Producer
"The 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: Motown 1980s, Vol. 1" (2002),
Producer, Mixing
"Michael Learns to Rock, Nineteen Love Ballads" (2002)
Tony appeared on Richard's solo album.
I don't have the liner note of Richard's "Time" now.
I wonder if there were
band members.
I heard that Tony put in appearances on a few tracks on "Scott Grimes" which Richard produced.
In 1986 or 1987 Richard performed at Disney World's Epcot. The conductor was
Doug Strawn.
