hey guys, I found out how much I LOVE this song! I know that Karen recorded for her solo album and it wasn't released, I think it's a shame cause I think it's one of the best songs she did...
I wanted to know your thoughts bout this one...

And ask if someone here would be able to post the lyrics cause there are some small phrases that I don't get at all wink.gif
Thanks

I like this song too. I don't think it's one of her best though... something about the higher range of her voice in some spots I don't care for as much.

I voted don't know it because it doesn't ring a bell. Is this one of her unreleased solo tracks? If so I'm one of the few who has yet to hear those tracks, so I'm hoping they return to this site soon so I can listen.

Or is it on another album somewhere and maybe I've heard it but just don't recognize the title.

i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song!! out of all of her solo songs, released and unreleased, this is my #1 fav. something about the piano melody and the ending where she holds the one note for so long and then goes "it's really you, oh you!" and then comes in the happy piano music again. i wub.gif it.

I agree, the song is too high for her in the choruses and makes her voice sound thin. It doesn't really go anywhere, just ambles along, so I voted that I didn't really like it smile.gif

I voted "Yes" because I love when Karen sang in her underrated upper range AND because I like the song as well, although I prefer Don't Try To Win Me Back Again and some others!

Although I agree to a certain extent that Karen's voice really was more suited to the lower end of the scale range, she was experimenting with her solo album, trying new things......that takes gutts and I personally like bits of all the solo stuff. It's a different sound but also kind of 'exciting' to hear Karen out of her comfort zone!!

Also I think she never showed more joy of life and pleasure at singing than at these songs.

I wish I could tell her how much I love her solo album and how much I appreciate her effort sad.gif

I really don't like Richard since I know that he didn't want this album to be released when Karen was alive sad.gif

Ok...I'm confused. Is this song "It's Truly You" or "It's Really You". I've been trying to figure this out for the past two days. laugh.gif whistling.gif
