Could we get it? Now that we have actual topics in there I like to quote stuff. I can't highlight the desired text and it drives me nuts.
[I'm lazy.]
With the flood control, I think it would be fine.

If I read your post correctly, I *think* what you want is already do-able. Have a look at this screenshot. If you want to reply to a particular post, click the reply in the blue box, and not the one in the red box, beside the post you want, and its contents will be quoted in your reply window.

Are you asking for "Quick Reply" where you can enter text at the bottom of the thread without hitting "Add Reply"? Or are you talking about the option to quote a certain post? If you "+Quote" on posts, it will add the posts you want quoted in your reply. If you click "Reply" on a post, it will quote just that post in your reply. "Add Reply" starts a post with no quotes.
In any event, I've added the "Quick Reply" option box that appears at the bottom just in case.

I was referring to the Quick Reply. That way I can quote certain portions of messages and highlight something to quote and keep reading. Yeahhh.
Thankies!

Jazza, you do know that you can quote several posts at once, right?
Please tell me that's only possible if you do a big cut and paste job back and forwards, otherwise I might possibly have to commit suicide at the thought of all the manhours I wasted.

Okay, so on the new Quick Reply you can't add selected text as quote.

I've always done it by hitting "quote" at the bottom of any posts I wanted to quote and then hitting the big "reply" button at the bottom when I was ready to post...and then all the quoted posts show up in there and you just remove whatever you don't want in each one.

Well, it was nice knowing you, Stephen.

That's how you do it. Now, with the new skin, it says "+multi" and when you click on that button in the post you want to quote, it'll change colours and say "-multi". Then, do like Pea says and click on "reply" at the bottom of the thread page and voila... multiple quotes in one post.
