Iraq: Rainy Days And Monday

I was just wondering: Is there anyway the people of Iraq (maybe even through our aid) could get some Carpenters exposure now?
Is there a way we could get The Carpenters on their airwaves...let them know about this site? I mean, talk about Rainy Days and Mondays: Iraq is the epitome of it.
I believe these people could use the soothing, healing sounds of the Carpenters. Don't you think?
Additonally, I believe if we could somehow get the Carpenters to the masses of Iraquis, it also might help change their opinion of Americans.
I realize there are a lot of electricty problems; so computers would be off and on....but when they were on.....Couldn't we help (someway....and I don't know...I am just asking the question)....offer these poor people the sounds of the Carpenters?
(However, my fear: If we could somehow make them aware of the Leadsister site....would it cause THIS FORUM to be monitored or watched by our government. If so, of course we'd nix the idea....but surely there must be a way to get them Carpenters music. ) With the holidays coming up...certainly would be fantastic hearing something from Christmas Portrait/Old-fashioned Christmas pouring through their streets (even if they are Islamic...there are enough Christmas songs they could relate to, perhaps.)
On another note, I just got to thinking....the same could be said of our US troops. Maybe we could do both--give them a double whammy--and offer our troops some Carpenters. That might be "the ticket to ride"....get US troops a lot of Carpenter dowloads...maybe tell them about this site (unless it would cause our being watched)--and allow the US troops to help get the Carpenters singing through the streets of Baghdad (to help make Iraquis aware of their music).

That would be amazing if could show them the music of The Carpenters, but I'd be surprised if they owned a cd player!

I think the whole world should listen to The Carpenters. Perhaps there would be more peace, in pointing out that what is really important in this world isn't power, money, and oil, but love for ourselves and others.
I wish Bush would listen to the words of "It's Gonna Take Some Time This Time."
