Let me see what I can do.

1) "Hey! Talkin' Tom at Tem Tower. It's 53 degrees at 13 minutes past the big ball's hour, and where were you when this song was number one?"

Talkin' Tom is a moniker assumed by the DJ (Tony Peluso). Tem Tower would supposedly be where he's broadcasting from. "13 minutes past the big ball's hour" just mean's that the time is 13 past the hour. Maybe 2:13 or 3:13, etc.

2) "Oh, what memories like memories from 1963. Later that same year, this golden goodie blast from the past was introduced by the Crystals!"

Phrases like "Golden Goodie" and "Blast from the Past" are often used to refer to really good songs from a long time ago. Oldies, if you will.

3) "What a sound! Right now, we're going to give you another clue at our "Guess the Golden Goodies Group" contest. So now let's listen closely to the voices in clue number 10!"

Radio stations that play music often have contests like this that ask listeners to call in and guess the name of a band for some sort of prize.

4) "Great, I'll take caller number 8 as the revving of engines and screeching of tires brings us back to Deadman's Curve!"

"Revving of engines" and "Screeching of tires" refers to the noises made by car engines and tires while racing.

5) "That was The Night Has A Thousand Eyes! One of Bobby V's biggest hits! Right now, I have Mark Rudolph of North Hollywood, California on the line. Marky, are you there?"

This is the winner of the contest. He now gets to try to guess who the band heard earlier is. If he's right, he wins $1,000.

6) "Mark Rudolph, for $1,000, can you give me the name of our Golden Mystery Group? (silence) Marky, are you there? (Yeah, the Four Seasons.) Mark Rudolph, would you repeat your answer please? (The Four Seasons?) Mark Rudolph...you....are.....WRONG! BOY!"

Mark has guessed The Four Seasons. After laying the suspense on him, the DJ has announced that Mark was wrong and didn't win. When he says "BOY!" he's using it as an interjection. Some people might say "Aw Jeez" or "Holy cow" in that situation.

7) "Fantastic. And you know, we hope you'll always be digging those totally terriffic top ten tunes as the hits just keep on coming!"

"Top Ten Tunes" refers to songs that are the 10 most selling in the nation.

Hope this helps!
