Carpenters Facts?

I found this website looking up a different song, and entered "Carpenters" to see what they had to say about them.
These *facts* all seem to be entered by *fans*, and I don't think that there is any burden of proof required, so, take that with a grain of salt.

Cool site.
Except:
'Goodbye To Love - This was Karen's favorite song -one she deeply related to because of her own personal life.' False.
'Only Yesterday - This was the only Carpenters hit song where Karen had no solo vocal parts. It is sung in three part harmony with her brother Richard. Overdubbing allowed for Karen to take two of the three parts.' WHAT?
What about all the verses?
Some people talk out of their a*s don't they

Here's a fact for you all:
The Carpenters never had a #1 single in the UK. They had to settle for 2 #2's - PLEASE MR. POSTMAN & YESTERDAY ONCE MORE. The latter selling 800,000 copies in total apparently
