Double Spacing

Hey Pamela
Do you remember how I mentioned ages ago that I had to bunch every paragraph together, in order for a natural line space to appear between paragraphs? Well, I was on a friend's PC last night using Moxilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and the problem didn't occur! So I was wondering whether this has anything to do with it?
Just so you know what I mean, this post as I typed it in the topic window, appears like this:
and by a miracle, the paragraph spaces appear themselves. It does my head in, cos it still happens after all this time

Firefox is SO MUCH better the IE. IE drives me insane. When I design websites, I have to add extra code and keep checking IE because things never show up the same with it as it does with Firefox. I dont fully understand the differences but I just wish IE would straighten up.
I'm not sure how or why it does weird things. That's one area that I cant help anyone with. LOL I know with firefox I have to return twice to break for paragraphs. I'm not sure about IE b/c I never use it unless something doesnt work in Firefox (which is rare). Some videos on MSN wont work in Firefox.
Anyway.... I wish I could solve your problem with all this. I'm stumped.

Hi Pamela
Thanks for the reply, that kinda makes a lot of sense, but didn't occur to me before I happened upon firefox, which I hadn't used before. We don't use it here at all cos the software systems at work which require an internet window are not compatible with firefox.
But hey don't worry about, I'm just glad I know why it happens now

Guess what Stephen... you're not alone.
Awhile back I was having issues with some when I posted (I think it had to do with the bold, italic, underline and strikeout buttons not working
) and Pam told me to change a board setting. I changed the type of text editor to use when posting to "Rich text editor" and now when I post, well... you know what happens.
You're not alone in your battle with the double spacing!

I turned it off.
*hit enter once*
*hit enter twice*
Looks like the double spacing shuts off when the rich text editor is off.
