I've lost some things over the years, but I seem to be obsessed with vinyl albums.

Nice collection of vinyl, Cheryl.



My collection is mainly composed of CDs. They're packed at the moment so you guys are going to have to wait until November-ish to see my collection.

Here is most of my collection...........

Here's Cheryl and my collection of Carpenters vinyl LPs along with a few books on the table. Barely visible in front of the books (one of the Coleman books autographed by Richard for Cheryl) are additional index cards autographed by Richard. The good condition vinyl still sounds really good too.

Considering about half of my collection is on the wall, here's a hodge podge of pictures:

I need to figure out a nice arrangement for the rest on my wall. I also have the tan album cover, which I'm borrowing from one of the turtle watch ladies, but I don't count that as mine.

I'm jealous of you all!!!

I've "only just begun" to be a Carpenters fan so I have a long way to go yet....

I love your framed photos, Ran! Did Richard sign them for you?
Your whole collection is fantastic actually...by the way, just how many copies of each album do you have???!!!

After I took my pictures I kept thinking of more stuff that I forgot to include. But here is most of my "collection".

I already posted my Carpenters photo wall a few weeks ago, so I will spare you that one.

Here's what you see when you first walk into my door. Two magazine pages, one an early Carpenters ad and the other was The Hot 100 when Close to you was number one on the charts.



Here's my vinyl, CD and video collection. I forgot to include my cassettes, they're in the attic. (And once again, the yellow "Close To You" LP surfaces...



Here's a close-up of my bootleg box, just to make you extra jealous.



I've also acquired some sheet music and magnets and buttons and a mug, and I forgot to include those in the picture. Just pretend they're there.

I am sssoooooo insanely jealous of your DVD collection!!!! Oh man!!!! Karen's Wedding! Death News Reports! Show Express! T.V. Appearances! Live in Osaka, Japan 1976! AAAHHHHH! Where on Earth (and how much money did you have to spend) to get a Carpenters "MECCA" like that??? If only their were some way to get some of that put up onto "karencarpenter.com". Whew!! I'll calm down now. Keep sharing your collections guys!

Linda, that bootleg collection is something else - I'm so jealous! Did you make the nice labels for the boxes, or was it that 'supplier' you mentioned once?

What is that orange 'Carpenters video collection volume 3 DVD', and which videos are on it? It looks like an official release, but I have never heard of it...Do you have volumes 1 and 2 as well?

By the way, is that Billboard poster the one I told you about when it was on ebay? It looks good, especially next to the Shure ad!

I've just got all their albums on CD

Thanks Carrie. Yes Richard did sign them, but not for me personally . Australia is a little too far away to visit him regularly . I only have one of everything with the exception of Horizon LP (the normal issue and the Japanese issue that opens like an envelope), and I have 3 Time cds cause I've been lucky enough to find them at markets.




That's from a certain eBayer who does really nice artwork....I have volumes 1, 2 and 6. If you look closely at my photo, you can see the ones I've got in front of the framed A Song For You ad- right of the Time cds .....

I made the labels because my collection was a disaster. Most of them come from the person that I mentioned. She doesn't sell on ebay. And she has a heck of a lot more than what I've got there.



Refer to the above post... Nice packaging of a bootleg from ebay. Don't have 1 and 2 because the stuff is already found in the rest of my collection.
