1969's A&m Artist Robin Wilson

rockectman's Photo rockectman 04 Sep 2006

Does anybody have For Once in My Life by Robin Wilson? My dad is after this song and I told him
I would try to get it for him, but so far, no luck, even on Kazaa. Wilson was signed to A&M before the Carpenters, similiar sound, but after Herb signed the Carpenters, Wilson faded away. She also
sang I'll Remember You, which I found on EBAY on a 45. Anyone even remember her? headphones.gif
Thanks....Derrick

You've just missed a two LP's of hers on ebay. That's probably the likeliest resource for you to keep an eye on.

Seems she joined another outfit called The Gin Blossoms, there seem to be a fair few releases by them...

Good luck smile.gif

I don't know her. I searched.
One Robin Wilson was born in 1965.
One (or the same) Robin Wilson is male guitarist.
Another is a writer.
And the following was on Yahoo search.

Rocketman, if you get hold of the LP and are able to make a CD pass from the vinyl, I would love to hear it. Hope you would consider getting in touch and maybe we could work something out.

I'm beyond intrigued with this one: - )

Have you gotten the song? rolleyes.gif

I did another search, her Recording Years: 1968-1970
The album that containes the song: SP-4135
Another album: "AIN'T THAT SOMETHING"(SP-4299)

So Karen and Richard met her(?) cool.gif
Herb Alpert's "Ninth" was SP-4134, by the way.
