Oooh, that was kind of a tough one, cause I like many of their Christmas songs. Two of my absolute faves are Merry Christmas Darling and Little Altar Boy, but recently I've come to really appreciate It's Christmas Time as well. I'm always out of breath when I try to sing along  How did Karen do that?? Anyway, so that's the one I voted for. Besides, the first part of the song is piano/vocal only (beauty in its simplicity, just like Sometimes), which makes it sound as if Karen & Richard are right there in your room performing it for you, sounds wonderful!!

I like Do You Hear What I Hear too, but somehow it always reminds me of that movie Gremlins, in which I heard that song for the first time. Incidently, this movie was on Dutch TV last weekend! :(

Oh, I love "Do you Hear what I Hear", it sounds so cool the way it's arranged and the moment where Karen starts singing really low...too awesome :P
But I also love the "Winter Wonderland" Medley, that is such a fun song, and "Merry Christmas, Darling" is really sweet :D Oh, I also like "There's no Place like home for the Holidays" and "Little Altar Boy"... Oh, there's too many!

I love the Chipmunks' Christmas album, too.... "Silver Bells" sung by Alvin is too funny!

Do You Hear What I Hear is just sublime, especially the rousing crescendo at the end. And it's soooo clear.
He Came Here for Me and I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day are also incredible.

Great topic, Renata!! That is such a tough poll!!!! But I finally came to a decision. It was hard though! I picked "Do You Hear What I Here?" She sings that so beautifully! It still amazes me to this day. When she finishes with the last word "liiiiiiiiiiiiight"! She holds that for so long! My second favorite song is "Ave Maria". Richard starts out with his wonderful piano work, and Karen comes out with "Ah Ave Maria..." It's a really hard song to sing, but when she sings it, she sings it with such ease. Richard said, "It's a chill factor with me, and always will be."

Oh yeah Ness! Ave Maria is one of the hardest songs to sing I think but Karen sang it like a queen! so, do you hear what I hear is winning! hey! and I thought that I was the one who loves that song!!!!

The "Ave Maria" is not an easy song to sing and Karen's Latin is exquisite! She was just so awesome! It's just a shame she's not appreciated and given the recognition she deserves!

I've been thinking past few days. The choice was hard. I love "Merry Christmas, Darling" (original single version, from the top). For second place, I have a tie between "Ave Maria" and "The Christmas Song".

I wonder what version of "Merry Christmas, Darling" was on German & UK "Carpenters Perform Carpenter" and will be in Japan.

And I found the following site!!

I serched for Doug Strawn because today is Doug's birthday.
Happy birthday, Doug!
But I don't know why I found Kristy with the Carpenters.

I found this page before. Doug and Cubby O'Brien
