Multi-coloured Swap Shop Appearance

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows of the existence of any photos from Karen's appearance on the UK's 'Multi-coloured Swap shop' show?
I have an autograph signed by Karen on this show and would love to see any pictures..I believe Richard was due to appear on the show with her, but was taken ill just before and so didn't take part. Does anyone know if she sang, or was there just an interview?

I think I know what it is but I can't remember. So basically, I can't help.

Oh, I know what the programme is - I used to watch it
from time to time - I just don't know how to find pictures from it. Basically it was a kids' programme on Saturday mornings where children used to trade (=swap) toys and stuff, and they also had celebrity interviews, games and so on. Margaret Thatcher was on it once!The guy who hosted it - Noel Edmonds - still appears on TV though not doing kids' shows any more!

Wanted to talk about this for a while. Basically I haven't got any pictures, but I've seen some before. And I've been trying to get a hold of this interview, and with Sue Lawley the same week for ages.
The picture I've seen is of Karen holding her thumb and finger up to the camera to insinuate the size of something and pulling a face. She's looking into the camera, so I think it must be a call-up thing where kids could ask questions to the stars. And I think she's talking about the pathetic size of a fish she caught on her husband Tom's boat.
Sorry I have no more info.
And I'm also hooked on Noel Edmonds new show "Deal or No Deal"

So you can't remember where you saw that photo, Neil? That's a shame! Maybe I will go back to the person who sold me the autograph, and ask him to ask the person who he bought it from if they took any pictures or have any further info. I trust my seller, and having read that Richard wasn't there, it makes sense that the person only got Karen's autograph...
Will also ask around my actor friends in case any of them actually know Noel - it's not beyond the bounds of possibility!
There's that forum on the 'digitalspy.co.uk' website too - might sign up and ask around there as well...
I haven't watched 'Deal or no Deal' yet, but it seems to get good reviews!

If you have the video, Karen metioned where they toured on the program, I think. You may knoow when "Showexpress" was taped.
Karen wore the outfits which she wore at GMA and Harrods after "Multi-coloured Swap Shop".
Lead sister member, Peter met Karen in 1981 and shared his story before.
A few years ago I saw Karen's photo at Harrods(probably) and asked an old LeadSister member, she said she had seen it.
When this program was talked about before, I thought I read that only Karen appeared on UK program in fan club newsletter and checked it. It was on newsletter.

Middle pics with Singles 1974-1978 copy sleeves is from Karen's ONLY solo UK promotional tour ....Richard was supposedly ill with flu ....now we know Richard was in bed ...unable to function without the dreaded sleeping prescription tablets ...all very sad.....
Karen was a marvel on this trip ....she did all the press & media interviews , receptions etc and capped this with her magical TV performance on Bruce Forsyth special ....one of her greatest live performances ....ever .....what a trooper ....
All this without her usual partner Richard .....take all the bows Karen .....

You have to go to the side bar click on "Pictures" Then scroll down to the bottom "Other Appearances" Then scroll down to see Swop Shop photos from 1981.
This is Steve's (Made in England) website so you cant copy pictures you must go there to see. I believe it was also Steve that provided us video a while back of Karen in this short interview clip but it was only 30 secs not full clip. It's great to hear Karen talk about touring and all the countries they will go to but Karen is sooo thin but always her upbeat self.
