Does anyone else see what I see in Avril Lavigne?...KAREN!
If you look beyond her punk image and hear the clearness and the style of her voice, I think it resembles Karen.
...don't give me that look!
Does anyone else see it in her looks and voice?

uhg.... I've seen interviews with her.. she seems pretty wacked out. Not sure about her singing. But she creeps me out. lol Especially after seeing her on Wierd Al TV. That was funny as heck.

Sorry Alex I don't see it AT ALL. I think Avril is quite rude and....well I won't dive into me view of her *shakes head* I mean she has an okay voice but Karen is like.....stunningly amazing. Sorry

The CLEARNESS of her voice, not the overall sound. You didn't understand what I was saying.
Now, it's time for me to defend Avril:

I loved her first single "Complicated". Then I saw her PUNK image and I dismissed her. I thought, euughh!...I can't have an artist like that.
Then I saw her perform on TV...I was floored. She was more than that image, just as Christina Aguilera is a belter, you couldn't tell that by looking at her.
I didn't like the Wierd Al show...it was dumb, I thought, I guess it just offended me.
Does anyone see what I mean?

Hey Alex lol its alright. I mean I see what you mean yeah, her voice is very clear. LOL I'm just the opposite of you, I liked complicated okay and LOVED her image, then I realized "Hey wait a minute, what kind of a punk is she? Poser! POSER!" and it all exploded from there. Yeah I agree about Christina too, she looks like a working girl but holy god can she sing!

Alex, have you ever heard Avril sing live? She sounds like crap. I see absolutely no resemblance between her and Karen, sorry.

I understand what you're saying Alex.... I havent heard her really to say one way or another. I just know Weird Al's version of her song.
