The paid version of the chatroom expires on August 26th. If it's not renewed, then it returns to the free service without the extra emoticons, background photo and sound bytes.

So far, there is $50 of donations going toward keeping the chatroom as is. To keep this level, $135 a year is needed. If anyone is interested in keeping this, please let me know. Otherwise, I can let it drop to the free service and the donations will go toward other aspects of the site.

Thanks head cheese. It looks like it's not as popular as it used to be, and without Alex the Chatgod, I don't know...maybe it's not worth it?

All the custom things are really really cool, but that's really really expensive. No one actually uses it anymore anyway...if you go in there now you'll see like three days worth of me talking to myself. I think we could live with the free version.

No we can't. I'm getting a new computer soon and I intend on living in the chat room.

Thanks to members for the wonderful donations! We've made our goal!

The chatroom has down times from time to time. Especially when summer hits or people get tied up in holidays. I've been busy with so many projects right now that I havent had time to chat. So the room is just in a slow spell. It will pick back up before you know it. I just need to set some chat session times.

Wow...people here have been donating money? I'm impressed.

When I first read the title of this thread I thought it was another April Fools Day style prank.....

Its NOT April Miranda But yeah wow the chat experiences levels of activity up and down like the stock market. But with the return of Stephen, Linda and such it should be a interesting time. Plus hey Alex, I still see you around, you LURKER!

You gotta watch out for those lurkers. I used to lurk anonymously. See, if you start to post and PM, etc., you just get sucked in to this hole that we call leadsister.com
