Karen's Last Photo

I asked this over at A&M Corner, but thought you guys might be able to shed some light too...
Does anyone have - or know of - the last known photo taken of Karen before she passed away? Obviously there are the photos of her in Ray Coleman's book from November + December 82 and early January 83, but are those the last?
I would have thought there would have been photos taken at the Grammy Alumni Reunion on January 13th, or maybe someone has their own pictures of her from actually meeting her, as I know of at least one member on here who did meet her at A&M a few days before she passed away.
Just wondered!! It would be a hugely sentimentally valuable item I guess, because of the very fact it would be the last known shot of her alive.
I remember reading that a few people had seen 8x10 colour prints of those pictures from the book - now that WOULD be a good find!!

The Grammy awards is the only picture I know of.... that group photo. i would like to have that myself. I would also think there's video footage, publicity photos, behind the scene photos etc out there too. They just havent surfaced and I'm not sure how to go about hunting them down or asking if there are any. But yeah, that would be a sentimental thing to have.

I always thought the one of Karen with her parents and the dogs in Downey was the last one.She is wearing a whie sweater. I think I'm right.
Is the grammy one that terrible one where she looks like a skeleton?

If you are talking about the white sweater with the NY skyline pictured on this page.... that was taken in April of 1982 when Karen flew home on an intermission from treatment and recorded "Now".
So unless there are personal photos of Karen between January 28th and the time of her passing.... I would say the Grammy reunion was the last photos.

The photo of Karen with her mam and dad outside Newville was taken I believe during a visit home in 1982. Karen's hair is much shorter than when she came home in November later that year. She kept her hair longer up until she died (see the photos in Ray Coleman's book).
Seeing how ill she looks in this picture makes me understand how mad Richard went when she came home for a break during her treatment - he said that she looked awful and that's when he really lost it with her and went mad about how little progress she was making with Steven Levenkron.
The other picture you mention - where Karen looks skeletal - is claimed by some sources to have been a shot at the promotional release of Made In America. I totally disagree, looks nothing like the Karen of 1980/1981, I also think it's from January 1983. So yes, possibly the last one of her.
