Hi!

I have some images and asks for you. I hope you will find the images interesting.

I saved these images by Windows Live Local http://local.live.com/ (you don't need to install it, only necessary your browser), and by Google Earth, you can download it from: http://earth.google.com/

I put a '*' mark when I don't 100% sure, because I had only an adress, and I did only a Google maps search.
If I made a mistake please correct me.

I have other adresses which linked to Karen and Richard:

Eg.: 55 Hall St, New Haven, CT. (Has anybody newer image of it?)
Nathan Hale School 480 Townsend Avenue New Haven, CT (It has a homepage, but only a few images with)
First apartment when they moved to Ca. 13024 Fidler Avenue, Downey, Ca (Has anybody an image of it?)

Please if you have interesting adresses linked to Karen and Richard send me a post to this topic, I would like to looking for it.

Above these, I would like to collect as many as possible scanned autograph and handwriting of Karen. (Now I have around 30 autograph, but only one handwriting).
I promise not to analyse them, only I will watch.

Thank you for your time and effort with loading these photos!
I especially liked to view of the Karen/Richard Carp. Performing Arts Center, it's huge!!!!
Their names will live a long, long time in history because of this building.

I will try to upload some of these to the LeadSister gallery.

You can add some in a folder in the members sharing section. Just pick some favorites to add.

The number 17 item's images showed wrong place.
Actually it is in the other side of the road, behind an apartman house.

I didn't know the Newville home had two garages (two driveways) -- and I've been there, or driven past it anyway.

Edit: Also didn't know the house had a skylight. Anyone know which room that was in? Stephen?

Also enjoyed the first Hollywood Bowl picture. Magnificent view!

How about Budokan? I don't know if that's a city or a venue, but it would be neat to see where that concert took place.

The skylight has always puzzled me, but basically that marks the dividing line where the original house ended. Everything you see to the right of it in the picture below is the addition they built after purchasing the property next door in the months after they moved in. But from what I can gather it's for the bar area, which didn't have a lot of natural light.

I may be way off here, but from what I can work out, here are the *rough* locations of the rooms in the house. I know a few members have been inside the house, so they may be able to correct me if I am wrong.

1. Richard's Bedroom

1.1 The Walk In Closet in his room where Karen collapsed

3 & 4. Agnes & Harold's Bedroom and 4th Bedroom

5. Front Entrance to the House and Hallway

6. Dining Area which is located straight up through the front door to the back part of the middle of the house

7. Kitchen

8. Living Room located to the left of the front door as you walk through and down the steps

9 Pool Room

10 Soundproofed Music Room at the rear of the house

11 Bar Area and TV Room

12. Front Garages

13. Driveways to the left and right of the house

14. Breakfast Area

15. Rear garden and swimming pool

And finally, the house without the extension of the bar, pool room and studio, which were only added after the Carpenters moved in a bought the plot next door

Or something like that anyway
