I am sorta afraid of this. This reminds me of those "Music Video Box" DVD releases in the US. I own them of Britney, Christina, and Avril and they are awful. What they are is about people talking about them growing up, etc, etc. Mind you, these people are just common townspeople (LOL).

Hopefully this is a nice production with a bit of new footage.

Probably you don't have to purchase DVD. It will be aired in U.S. like Karen Carpenter Story.
I have seen only a few A&E Biography, they were good. It may depend on whom they do interview?

I hope it's released as a DVD here, and I hope they don't wait as long as they did to release CLOSE TO YOU: REMEMBERING THE CARPENTERS.

I'll probably be pulling another AS TIME GOES BY and buy the Japanese DVD and pay to have it transfered to a region 1 DVD (how costly). I've been meaning to get some other Japanese DVD's too )

All other first releases are partly monochrome. Only Carpenters, monochrome.

Yes, they say black and white. But they have another misprint, Richard and Helen.

Why on earth would they put this release out in black and white though?

No, John Bettis for Europe, Terry Ellis for Japan.
Maybe Helen was stand-in pitcher. Charity Softball Game might be canceled thanks to rain. I wonder who woud pitch.
