Firstly, what do the little orange squares next to our avatars mean? When, why, and how do they change in number?

Also, how come despite what I type in the "favourite song" box, I often end up with different song titles listed next to my avatar? I haven't even heard the song "Caravan" yet!

The favourite song box is not linked to what comes up in your Avatar description. In fact, I'm not sure what it's linked to .

The Caravan refers to you being very early on in your Leadsister career (in terms of your number of posts), just as Caravan was the Carpenters first official effort of their career. From there, you go to things like Superstar and Mega Superstar etc.

But yeah, what are the little orange boxes for, there's no key that describes them in the forum

Okay, I don't understand...I don't see any orange boxes.

When I changed the skin to Little Girl Blue, I could see orange boxes, Annie.

I don't know about helmet song. Is there helmet song in the Eagles member solo song?

Maybe that's why we don't see any orange boxes, Annie.

The little orange boxes found in the Little Girl Blue skin are called Pips They relate to how many posts you have. When you hit certain number of posts... you get another pip. I believe up to 6 pips total.

Your other questions were already answered

Except the one about what the "Choose ONE of your favorite Carpenter songs" section is for in your controls. As already mentioned, it doesn't seem to have any purpose...

But to put something next to your avatar, go to your controls....under custom member title, you can add something.

I am still a bit confused - I seem to have bypassed the 'Caravan' stage altogether and started on 'Solitaire' when I signed up, and that wasn't a very early Carpenters song!!! What comes next, and how many posts do I have to get to before it will change?

Solitaire was for those with only 1 post

I dont post what stages come next and how many posts. Mainly b/c I dont want ppl posting left and right to up their post count with one word replies and smilie faces. So things will change in due time.

Thanks for clarifying this. As I have quite a lot more than the one post now, I reckon I will soon be leaving 'Solitaire' days behind and climbing aboard the 'Caravan'!

To me it seems strange that people would post one word replies in the forums just to up their count - the subjects are all too interesting to be responded to with posts that short...

I am really enjoying reading everything people write, looking at the gallery etc; thanks so much for setting up this site!

Yeah, I think we're all too cool to do stupid things for post count, but I've definitely seen it be a problem on other forums.

I was wondering about the numbers myself...but it's cool that's it's all mysterious and secretive. One day I'll log on and be surprised .
