Hence my username, I LOVE Top Of The World. It does make me smile. Even before I got to know the person behind the voice and music, I would smile every time I heard this song. That's how Richard would want the fans to do. He would want us to smile and remember the GREAT times that Karen gave us.

It's the same for me..."Top of the World" was one of the first Carpenters songs I had fallen in love with and it was just because of Karen's voice, you could hear her smiling, and it just...makes me happy. I knew she had to be a wonderful person just by her voice, it was just magical.

I think Top Of The World is one of the songs that truely shows Karen's voice as really beautiful. The remix version on "Grestest Hits" is awesome. You can really hear her deep notes and it always sends shivers down my spine.
