I had no idea that there was a new tribute band out, formed in 2002 and just to frustrate me more, they have recently passed through my hometown and I missed them

Thanks for the link..., I saved everything(pics, Mp3s, web pages)..., cool.
As a Carpenters collector, I think this is a great idea and I support them.
I'm glad that our friend Chris has worked with them also.
The pics/outfits arrangements are cool.
The name is a little weird though..., 'cause if they are presented on the radio, they will be announced as The Carpenters.
The voice is very different also, but, hey..., I would go see them anytime..., the music is cool.
Long live The Carpenters and The Karpenters.

Hey, that is SO cool
It must feel so weird to be part of a tribute band, though
They sound great

Don't know about her 'voice' - but she got the clothes almost right
They are really serious about this: http://www.karpenters.com

I came across this band just now when looking for something on google, so thought I would see if they had been mentioned on here before.
They sound pretty good I think and this is them performing "Close To You":

Any thoughts ?
What experiences do people have of going to see Karen & Richard tribute acts ?

I agree they sound pretty good it sounds like the full band on the recording and they don't always perform with that I've noticed., i will have to keep a look out for them, they seem to do quite a bit for Warner Holidays.
Well I went to the Smooth radio Show in Manchester although that's not really a tribute band as such.
