Just wondered how many of us were members of the Carpenters Appreciation Society & if anyone knows what happened to it?I used to be super jealous of Marilyn cos she got to meet Rich & his family so many times! 
I wish it was still around,I miss all the British-related Carpenters news 
Who wants to be the new Marilyn(apart from me!).I hope there ARE some ex-members on here or I'll sound like a jibbering lunatic!

This is just too cool!!!
I was also a member of the CAS, and just a few moments ago I found out that Rachel was my long lost pen-pal from that time. How cool is that??
Rachel and I were pen-pals many moons ago and even exchanged gifts and stuff.

Where I live, CAS stands for "Children's Aid Society". You don't wanna mess with them!!

Paul,that name does sound familiar!Wonder if anyone else remembers him,or me? Yes Christian & I were Carpenters crazy penpals,I wish we'd never lost touch & the British fan club was still around
