If you could spend an hour with Karen, what would you do and what would you like to say?
I would like her to sit down with me at the drums and show me a few tricks! We would laugh at my bafflement sometimes and we would talk about the music! Then we would sit and chat about different topics....whatever
pops into our heads! Like minds enjoying each others point of view!

I'll have to get back to you on the questions - its taking longer than I thought. There's just a few starter ones.

I would just sit and chat about different things. I would also ask her to sing for me.

There's just way too much. I don't think an hour would begin to scratch the surface! Hmm but there's no way I'd turn down that opportunity! I'd do a lot more listening than talking though, that's for sure.

(Hmm, that's also a first. )

Definately would want a ride in the Jag.... and a drum solo... but I think it would be fun to hang out at Disneyworld with her and hit some rides.

An hour?? She'd come away with the impression I was hyper with all the stuff I''d try to cram in with her and talk about!

First I would do the gushing - I love these songs, its cool you drum, I sound good singing along with you, you are so cool, Karen and I've loved you since I was 14 like you were my big sister, can we exchange addresses and be pen pals etc, etc,

After I finish being a motor mouth, I would ask for an autograph, take a few pictures of us. Then I would just want to talk and visit and get her impressions on music, have her teach me some singing techniques for my alto voice, and what she thought about Judy Garland and MGM musicals, what kinds of musical movies she was thinking of doing in the future, filming TV specials, and other stuff about our mutual likes or dislikes.

Once I get that chance, I would love to just take a trip to Disneyland with her and go on the rides and talk about Disney and collecting Disneyana since we both liked Disney. What a nice daydream it is.

Seriously, she would be probably the only famous person I would go gaga over if I had met her!

I'd probably go gaga if I met Richad or Olivia or Diana Ross.

I bet Karen would like "How do you know THAT much about me! Come on I'm not THAT interesting!"

That's exactly how Karen would react to fandom, I bet. She always seemed so modest about herself. Another thing I respect about her.

Lets see... in my fantasy meeting with Karen...

I would thank her for all the enjoyment, and comfort her singing has given me over the years.

I'd ask her about a few things that I've always wondered about, and listen intently to whatever answers she would give.

Then I would ask her to sing "You're The One" for me, acapella, as I gaze longingly into her eyes.

Finally, I'd give her a long hug and a kiss goodbye, and as she turned to walk away...

I'd pull out a scissors, and snip off a lock of her hair... so that I could have her cloned!!

I would prepare an hour long presentation, setting out very clearly why we should get married and spend the rest of our lives together. (well c'mon....this IS fantasy)

Oh! This is sad.

I would get Richard and her together and have her give him a LONG chat on what he should do with their music, like releasing videos, rare songs, etc. He would agree and they'd go into the recording studio together and finish a bit of the work leads.

That would be amazing.

My goodness, some of you are packing a lot of things into an hour.

Someday, you'd go gaga if you met Diana Ross? That woman is pure evil. I'd run away if I saw her.

I'd stammer and stutter over most of my words for like the first 15 minutes or so Then I'd try my best to create a coherent conversation with her, talk about the music, the things she likes, just normal stuff like that. And also thank her for everything she has done and how wonderful I thought she was. Then give her a big hug and kiss at the end of our hour

I think I would struggle to let her go when the hour was up I would tell her what an amazing person she was,how funny,talented,awesome & pretty she is I'd really want to listen to her talking so I'd try to have short questions from me,try to make her laugh,ask her to teach me to play the drums,ask her to sing for me & give me some of her outfits!I'd also want to hug her lots & ask her to be my big sister & look out for me I think she'd think I was crazy but I'd be soooo happy to have met her,so pleased to have had the chance to let her know how much I love her I wish it was possible!
