Why?

Can anybody help me out on this question:
On the Carpenters Gold CD, there are 20 tracks. Why didn't they put the SAME tracks on the video/DVD of the same name. Notable differences are: All You Get From Love Is A Love Song, Yesterday Once More etc.
Hope that wasn't too confusing . .

Simon, I was surprised when i saw that All You Get From Love is a love song wasn't included on the Gold CD. It's always been on previous Greatest Hits packages. I guess the A&M people who put the album together had to toss up which hits were more popular and relevent.
As for those songs not on the DVD. Well, they never made a video for Yesterday Once More (which is unbelievable considering what a huge hit it was) and I'm assuming that's why it (and others) don't feature on it.

What??? No video for Yesterday Once More?!
Holy Crap - that was a GREAT song and sold over 800,000 copies here in the UK - pity if it had no video.

We are talking about two different 'Gold's' here, Simon's is the UK 20 trk, the rest seem to own the US double album called 'Gold', which does feature 'Love Song'. This seems to happen a lot, even on amcorner.com too, where the conversation has sometimes gone on and on, til they realised they were talking about two completely different products!

Variety is the spice of life. Plus, All You Get From Love was not a hit in the UK so maybe that's why.
