Miss Her And Wonder Where She Would Be Now

medicdi's Photo medicdi 05 Mar 2005

:) Just thinking back and how I felt when I would hear Karens music. I was married in 1988 and used her music during the service and during the reception. It was heaven. I still lose myself when I listen to all of my Carpenter's CD's. I wonder where she would be now. I miss her. Someday I will see her and hear her again.

Karen's voice is angelic. I am mesmerized as I listen to her. Although I can't say that I was a big fan of The Carpenters at their peak, (I was into the Beatles, which I just learned she was influenced by). I am 5 years younger than she, and I am greatful that I can hear her beautiful voice and wish that she were still with us to make the beautiful music that she has left us with. Happy Birthday Karen...we miss you!!!

funny I just started listening to her music these past few months and really studied just how well she kept her voice range.

The music with the symphony is just so beautiful.

Even though her voice was sad in some songs, it was pure and full of life.

I wish we had more musicians like her today.

I know where she is. She's in heaven with all the other singers that have died before and after her. I am thinking about getting the Carpenters Gold 35th anniversary collection. Does anyone reccomend a song that I listen to when I first get the album? I have been wanting to get this album for so long, but haven't had the guts to buy it. Next time I go to the store, I'm getting it.
