Yeh Hey!!!, I just caught a commercial for the Gold Collection CD on TV at 10:30 this morning. 
It's the first time I've seen the carpenters on regular telly for years.

I was wondering who posts this message from UK. 
How was the commercial?
Were Gold CD and Gold CD + DVD released in UK?
What were February releases in UK?
I have seen several gold-coloured Gold on the net. Was gold-coloured Gold released before?
Univeral UK should release Gold DVD with "I Need To Be In Love".
One of Gold, Japanese release was white Gold.

I think it said "Definitive collection".I already have a Carpenters Gold CD AND DVD, the DVD was purchased in the US, although I'm sure I bought the CD here in the UK, so perhaps it's just the DVD that's been released.
As I (and most of us) have virtually every track they ever released, I don't pay that much attention to new compilations.
but to see them on telly was good.

Olivia Newton-John's platinum disk last December was "Definitive Collection".

Sakura, the new UK release of Gold is a special release ith the CD and DVD combined. The cover of the album is gold. The original Carpenters Gold CD was released in 2000 but the album cover was navy blue.
I bought this new one because I didn't have the DVD of their hits. I only had the VHS video which is years old. Mikey, my brother told me they were advertising it on the TV. I was very happy to hear this. It's definately having an effect as my brother's fiance went out and bought it. She never told me she liked them before.
The only thing I'm not that happy about with the Gold CD is the fact that there are only three photos in the CD booklet (although they are good ones). There should be more though.
