Hi:

well, i´m a spanish boy who have discovered karen voice and carpenters music not a long time ago. Listening her maravellous voice i can dream and i can smile, even when i´m so sad. Last week i brought a dvd whit the history of carpenters. I saw the images of Richard crying when he was speaking about the death of karen. I can really tell you that my hearth was broken looking at this images.
So I believe that there are millions of people in the world that remember karen Carpenter and her lovely voice and mood.
Finally i want to say a little words in my language:
Gracias, karen, por haber hecho tan felices a tantos millones de personas, entre las que me incluyo. Gracias por haber despertado toda la ternura que algunos creíamos muerta en nuestros corazones. Nunca te olvidaremos.

Don't apologize for your English - you did great! And even though I couldn't quite get all that you wrote in Spanish - I know that it was heartfelt and sincere.

I feel so much in common with your feelings , Pablo! Seeing Richard cry about her sister would also break my heart - even thinking about it is hard enough.
