Reincarnation

If you had the chance to be reincarnated as Richard or Karen, would you take the opportunity?
Imagine having that talent!

:P Good question Paul,

I'm not sure if I would want to give away all the good things I have in life, but if I did, I would have pick Karen (even though I'm a bloke).

That voice was one in a trillion, whereas although Richard was a very talented musician there a number of others that I would say are equally or more talented.

Karen however, was incomparable.

I'm not exactly sure that we should be discussing this.

It's a legit question. And yes, I would choose to be KAREN. Imagine being able to sing LIKE that to anyone. To be loved and to have that natural God-given talent. Especially in today's society Karen would be so admired and loved...

My thoughts,

It would be an honor to be anywhere nearly as talented as either one of them! And I agree that Karen's voice would be extremely appreciated in today's society....we need someone as wholesome and talented as karen carpenter these days......

Why do you find this topic inappropraite Raz? I also think Karen and Rich had a great deal of luck when it came to their working lives. They had lots of work to do, loved what they did, and were paid very, very well for it. I think it is that which I would love to be able to have (and that voice of course!).

Hypothetically speaking of course I would have to say Karen. I can relate to Karen so much more than Richard. Her and I have simular personality traits I kind of understand some of what she went through and to possess talent like that I could only dream to have that kind of talent. And the luck thing has already been covered so we'll agree to disagree on that.

I would pick Richard. I would love to be plagued with inspiration that comes from nothing. Or a tv commercial... LOL!

Besides, being a woman this time around I'd like to try something new...

For me, living once in this life is enough. When I die, I just want to be at peace! :)

I didn't think that we should be talking about this is because it is on the borderline of a religious topic. The thread could easily swirl into a nasty and hot headed point of view.

I don't think that this would actually happen on this forum but it could. I have seen it before on many other forums and members quit or cuss people out.

Andrew,
I AGREE! That's why I said, when I die, I want to be at peace. It's true, and to the point.

Hello,
I don't think there is a prob discussing this. We are not getting into the nitty gritty of reincarnation per se. If you don't want to discuss it, don't. Plain and simple.
