Any Songs You Wish You Never Heard?

For me, it was pretty much her entire solo album and Voice of the Heart album. I'm not going to flat out say that I wish I never heard them, but they didn't have the sound that I was accustomed to hearing. None of those songs left me feeling the way I was used to feeling after hearing a classic Carpenters song.

I like the every song from her solo album and the unreleased solo album. This is more of my style of music.
Now VOTH, it has way too much choir and it's no A Song For You but I don't think I could live without it.

Thanks SMW and I appreciate your honest commentary. I guess my answer would be two part:
There are songs from KC that I appreciate more than others. I mean there are some I don't go out of my way to listen to very often, but I still appreciate them.
The second part of my answer is that there are many songs I wish she could have done, given the opportunity. I try and treasure everything she did, even the ones that weren't her best.
Also, I love the fact that you are a member here and that there are people your age who have found this wonderful music. That touches my heart and serves as a great tribute to all of the hard work the Carpenters did. That is awesome!

I actually can answer this one. My life would be fine without:
1. Saturday
2. Goofus
3. Man Smart, Woman Smarter
4. Beechwood 45789

To look back at my previous comment...I would like to make clear that I just did not like those albums as a whole....I liked certain tracks on both of the albums...especially Ordinary Fool on Voice of the Heart...but that was from the Horizon sessions.....

Actually I like most of the Carpenters stuff, they don't do songs that drive me crazy, which some other singers do. There are three songs I wish I'd never have to hear, but the Carpenters didn't do them. They were country songs that people (and radio stations) played too much.
