Now that USA release of As Time Goes By achieved -seems Universal are back to their old tricks -not promoting new top quality Carpenters albums 
Perhaps because Richard blocked the proposed 12 track ATGB in 2001 , Universal just thought -"let's put this out in the marketplace and leave it alone -the dedicated fans will find this in due course and we have issued this !! "
With Gold 35th Aniv set success and as this is Carpenters key anniversary year -this was the ideal time to promote this great set of rarities with some double release campaigns with Gold , a radio sampler of tracks and even ...shock horror a radio single -we as fans understand more about targeting key audiences / sales etc
Perhaps Richard will undertake more media / personal promotion for both albums later this year -certainly Universal Music Monster will not do anything more
