Does anyone have any information on Karen Carpenter's relationship with Suzanne Sommers? I've been curious about this since I purchased the 1978 special. What are Suzanne's thoughts of Karen's death?

She's an actress Renata. Well known for her role as Chrissy on the show "Three's Company' from the late 1970's or early 80's. She appeared in the Carpenters TV Special of "Close Encounters".

She also promotes health and fitness products like "Thigh Master." She did a sitcom with Patrick Duffy that was fluffy and successful for a few years. The name escapes me.

It was called step by step where Suzanne and Patrick played divorced parents who married and raised their families together. Suzanne Somers did mention her performance on the Carpenters special when she hosted VH1's 8 Track flashback segment on the Carpenters.
